Movement is more than exercise
It's a conversation with your body
Most of us were never taught how to actually listen to what our bodies are telling us. We push through pain, follow generic programs, and wonder why we keep ending up in the same place.
You might be here because you want to move better, hurt less, build strength, make aesthetic changes, or feel more confident in your body. Whatever your goals are, they're welcome here.
I know what it's like to feel confused by your body, frustrated by symptoms, and exhausted from searching for answers. I also know how powerful it can be to have someone alongside you who understands what you're going through and can help you navigate the process.
This work isn't about perfection, and progress rarely happens in a straight line. It's about building awareness, resilience and trust in your body over time. And while you don't need someone else to "fix" you, having support and guidance can make the journey a lot less overwhelming and a lot more enjoyable.
What we'll focus on
Many traditions focus on the breath's impact on the nervous system, but few look at the actual mechanics of better breathing—both matter.
Suboptimal breathing patterns can contribute to pain, negatively affect posture, and increase felt stress. Here we work on the mechanics of how you breathe, while also welcoming the nervous system benefits that come with it.
Your core is much more than your abs. It works together with your diaphragm, pelvic floor, spine, and rib cage to create stability, manage pressure, and help you move efficiently.
We'll explore how your core and pelvic floor respond to different positions, breathing strategies, and movement. By improving their coordination with the rest of your body, we can build a system that adapts well—whether you're lifting weights, carrying groceries, or simply moving through everyday life.
Training the body as one integrated unit builds strength you can actually use. It's how the work you put in during training transfers to the things you love to do.
Together we'll build strength primarily through movements that engage the whole body and mimic the patterns of everyday life. Rather than only training muscles in isolation, these movements teach your body to coordinate, so you get functional strength as well as muscle growth. That means pushing, pulling, hinging, and squatting, but also rotational and gait-based movements.
Every exercise is chosen for a reason and adapted to your body. Whether you're training at home or in the gym, we'll use bodyweight, dumbbells, cables or bands, chairs, foam rollers, and other simple tools to explore different positions and variations that build strength around your individual needs.
Our bodies are designed to do more than move in straight lines and lift weights. They're designed to move in every direction, produce and absorb force, react quickly, and adapt to whatever life throws our way.
Jumping, hopping, skipping, changing direction, rotating, and reacting to the unexpected help keep our muscles, bones, connective tissues, and nervous system healthy. These qualities become increasingly important as we age, helping us stay adaptable and ready for whatever life throws our way. Whether you have an athletic background or want to hike, play with your kids or grandkids, travel, or feel more confident moving through the world, we'll build these skills progressively.

A little about me
Hi! I'm Jennah
For a long time, I thought something was wrong with me. At 19 I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. Over the years, I experienced chronic back, hip, pelvic, and foot pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, and digestive issues. Later I discovered how hypermobility was influencing so many of the systems in my body.
In the midst of all the pain, I kept hearing the same message: "Just move more and you'll feel better." The problem was, I was already moving. A lot. I was exercising constantly, yet I was still in pain. So I became curious. And that curiosity changed the course of my life.
Since then, I've learned from many different modalities and worked with hundreds of clients and group class members navigating their own unique fitness journeys. These experiences have shaped the way I coach today. Together, we'll build an approach around your individual needs. No matter where you're starting from or what your goals are, I'm here to help you get there!

Develop Awareness
Pay attention to sensations.
Learning to feel tension, activation, pressure, relaxation, and even pain, is how you learn from and with your body. Start by simply being present with these sensations.
Calibrate Your Movement
Interpret the feedback.
Every sensation is a signal. Use them to improve posture and weight distribution, find suitable ranges of motion, and leverage optimal drivers of movement.
Train with Confidence
Build trust with your body.
As you learn to converse with your body, you adapt the moves, adjust your plan, and pursue your goals on your own terms. This is real empowerment.
